The only reason I'm not "very satisfied" is because of the times (often outside of her control) when she hasn't been able to be at Aim4Peace when she was expected. When she is here, I have been very satisfied with her work. However, the bulk of her major projects are in the process of still being completed.
 (10%)

The written materials Erica is producing are outstanding and her commitment to learning facilitation and training skills related to the Living Well with a Disability course

I am satisfied with Ashley's effort- however I feel that her experienced could be enriched by her engaging in more questions and inquiry with staff and the subject matter of the agency. I feel that she understands the basics of Sexual assault and the agency but lacks the confidence to persue a deeper enrichment around subject matter and dynamics. She doesn't allow herself to get to involved with materials and staff in a way that *I believe* could benefit her. (I hope this makes sense- it is not meant to be a criticism- more of a chance for learning)

Because life in the GaDuGi office is quick to change and frankly, things can get nuts, priorities sometimes have to be modified. This means that the SafeBar survey and other outcomes we hope for Ashley's internship have had to cool at times...  I only mark this response because I believe Alisa would like to have been further along with her project & I know the agency has worried about her getting what she needs from us to make that happen. I will plan to set up standing mtgs with her for remainder of the placement to ensure her needs, and those of the practicum, are being met.

The site for Emily’s practicum is within the Disability Rights Center of Kansas office in Topeka and we are somewhat tucked away in the back of the office. With that said, we don’t have a great deal of contact with the DRC staff. We will, however, have ample opportunity to interact with the public and members of the Kansas Legislature in the future. Anytime Emily has interacted with DRC staff she has done so with a great attitude and exhibited professionalism.

The objective of the practicum project was clarified and I have discussed my expectations with Marieka on turning in "drafts" that are more complete, particularly in formatting and spelling so that actual verbiage content can be easily added. Marieka is learning that, in the workplace, it is better to ask questions in order to keep from redoing work. An example of this would be when I sent her a document that she couldn't open, she continued to rework an old one. If she had only said that she couldn't open the document she would have saved time and herself from redoing work I had already completed.
